One Day online webinar on “Numerical Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow For Industrial Applications” was organized at SMVD University through a virtual platform.The webinar was organized by the School of Mechanical Engineering, SMVDU, Katra, and was coordinated by Dr. Sanjay Sharma & Er. Varun Dutta, Faculty school of Mechanical Engineering. The webinar received a good response from the faculty, scholar & industry personnel from India & abroad. More than 30% of participants are registered from countries like USA, Singapore, UAE, Malta (Europe), and Bangladesh, including participation from industries like ABB, Chemi Tech, Simfoni, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, and others.
Prof. Eswaramoorthy Muthusamy, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, and Head, School of Mechanical Engineering, SMVDU, Katra, spoke on the importance of this webinar and encouraged the participants to get benefited from it.Distinguished speakers discussed the numerical heat transfer and fluid flow procedures for the solution on a computer describing heat transfer and fluid flow problems for industrial applications and also have a fundamental understanding of Finite Difference, Finite Volume and Finite Element techniques.
