SMVDU Katra, 14 March 2019. Prof. V. Verma, Head, School of Biotechnology at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra, attended the 2019 International Conference on Research in Life Sciences & Healthcare (ICRLSH) at Dubai (UAE), and delivered an invited talk on “A multiplex PCR assay to detect important human pathogens like Shigella, Escherichia coli and Shiga toxin-producing E. coli in milk”. The conference was attended by about 200 scientists, professors, researchers from various countries. He also chaired one of the sessions in the conference and also been awarded with the Best Presenter award. Prof. Verma expressed his gratitude to Dr. Sanjeev Jain, Vice-Chancellor, SMVDU, for his continuous support and motivation for the research activities in the university.
