Workshop on News Drafting conducted at SMVDU

SMVDU Katra: A one day News Writing Workshop was organized by Literary Club under the aegis of Board for Cultural Activities on April 26, 2017. In the workshop Dr. Anurag Kumar, Coordinator Literary Club & Assistant Professor, Department of Languages & Literature delivered lecture on the fundamentals of news report writing. Workshop was attended by Ms. Himja Sharma, Ms. Shreya Singh, Ms. Prinka Devi, Mr. Raashid Altaf Tak, Mr. Roy Keshav Sharma, Ms. Neharika Singh, and Ms. Shymali. Mr. Akash Srivastava, Secretary Literary Club coordinated the event and thanked all participants for their commendable performance and presence. Drafting skills become more important for students particularly when many of students giving professional degrees like to work for media as a journalist, reporter, documentary writer. These areas are not only seen as a gateway for employment, but the youth see adventure in them too. Dean of Students Dr. Yugal Khajuria and President Board of Cultural Activities Dr. V. K.
