Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University conducted a One Day Training Program on “Procurement through GeM” on 29-05-2024, for Heads of all Schools, PIs, Members of Engineering wing, DRs, ARs, SOs, AAO, ASO and Staff from various wings such as S&P, MAC, Sports, Central Library, and network Centre of the University. The aim was to provide practical training to Faculty and Staff on how to use GeM effectively and to apprise them of the features like, Bid Creation, Push Button Procurement, and Bunching, etc. Mr. Neeraj Gupta, JKAS, Finance Officer, SMVDU inaugurated the Training programme which was attended by 57 participants. Mr. Ankit Jhawar Deputy Director-State and UTs, GeM gave an introductory lecture on GeM and; Mr. Javeed Ahmed Shaikh Business Facilitator (Jammu & Kashmir | Ladakh) at GeM and Trainer, conducted the technical training. The program was organized by the Stores and Procurement Wing of the University.
