A two-week online National Faculty Development Program on ‘Entrepreneurship Development’ was inaugurated at SMVD University. The FDP is being organized by Faculty Development Centre-SMVDU under PMMMNMTT Scheme in collaboration with the School of Business and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC), SMVDU, and sponsored by DST-NIMAT Project. A total number of 54 participants from all around India have enrolled in the FDP program.
In his inaugural speech, the Chief Guest, Padma Shri Prof. Ravindra Kumar Sinha, Vice-Chancellor, SMVDU, expressed the need for entrepreneurial skills. Earlier, the Guest of Honour, Sh. Nagendra Singh Jamwal (KAS), Registrar, SMVDU, briefed the participants about the University and its achievements. Dr. Suparn Kumar Sharma, Coordinator, FDC-SMVDU & Dean, Faculty of Management, highlighted the achievements of FDC-SMVDU and informed about other future events.
Dr. Saurabh Head of School of Business welcomed all the delegates on behalf of the organizing committee and gave opening remarks Dr. Ratna Chandra, Associate Professor, School of Biotechnology and Coordinator of the Programme welcomed the participants and outlined the various pedagogical aspects of entrepreneurship to be induced in the programme.The other organizing committee members present during the inauguration included Dr. Jyoti Sharma, Faculty, School of Business and Co-coordinator of the programme; Dr. Rashi Taggar, Organizing Secretary; Dr. Deepak Jain, Co-Convenor; Dr. Kamini, Joint Organizing Secretary; Dr. Kamaldeep and Dr Rahul Sharma, Co- Organizing Secretaries.Dr. Syeda Shazia Bukhari, Co-organizing Secretary, delivered the vote of thanks to dignitaries.
