National Symposium on Indigenous Learning for Business and Society Concludes

20032017 concludeTwo day national symposium on ‘Road to Resurgence: Indegenius Learning for Business and Society’ organised by School of Business, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra, concluded successfully on 17th March 2017. Around 42 participants from various institutions across the country participated and deliberated upon the resurgence of India through innovative techniques and research methods.

In the technical session, the scholars from various institutions of India presented their research and thesis in the presence of Prof. Shiv Nirmohi( Dogri writer), Dr. Ashish Pandey, SJMSOM, IIT Bombay, Dr. Vishwajeet Pendse, Nagpur, Dr. Amit Kumar Dashora, MoU, (HP) and the faculty members of SMVDU. The salient features of the concluding day was deliberations made by Dr. Vishawajeet pendse who delivered talk upon research for resurgence foundation, Dr. Amit deoria provided insight upon relationship of ancient research methods and new techniques, Dr. Varun Tripathi provided talk on Gyan for Abhiyan, Dr. Suparn Sharma on Research in India, Dr. Aditya Singh on Building and Architecture, Shri Shiv Nirmohi Rediscovering Dogri culture, Dr. Sunil Wanchoo on Earth Speaks Dr. Ashutosh Vashishtha on research for resurgence and rediscovering India and Dr. Saurabh on experiences of Glocal India.

Finally the colossal event came to a closure with a valedictory ceremony, facilitating all the 42 participants. Dr. Ashish Pandey SJMOM, IIT Mumbai, expressed his appreciation at the level of education imparted at School of Business SMVDU. He said that the University can be equivalent to any top ten Universities of India. Dr. Ashutosh Vashishtha, Head of Department of School of Business SMVDU gave concluding remarks and said that SMVDU is dedicated to deliberate and contribute for the contempoarary issues and we must do more activities to relive the glory of India. Dr. Saurabh organising secratry of the program thanked the Vice Chancellor for his dynamic vision of guidng the University and all the participants who have taken the discussion to a meaningful end.
